This Privacy Policy explains how BetTracker (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the BetTracker app. By using the App, you agree to this policy.
1. Information We Collect
Account Information: When you register, we collect your email address and username.
Betting Data: We collect the bet records, stakes, odds, sportsbooks, sports, and results you voluntarily enter into the App. This data is stored to provide analytics and history features.
Location Data: With your permission, we use your device's GPS location and IP address to verify your geographic location for compliance with sports betting affiliate regulations. We do not store your precise GPS coordinates — we only store the detected state/region code.
Payment Information: Subscription payments are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play. We do not store your payment card details.
Usage Data: We collect product analytics events tied to your account when you interact with the App — for example, the screens you view, when you log a bet, when you view the paywall, and the outcome of subscription purchases. Each event is recorded with: your user id, a stable device identifier we generate locally, a per-session identifier, the app version, the platform (iOS or Android), and a small properties payload describing the event (e.g. which sport, which subscription interval). These events are stored on our own servers (not a third-party analytics provider) and are used to understand how the App is used, prioritize improvements, and detect abuse. We retain product-analytics events for 90 days.
2. How We Use Your Information

- To manage your subscription and account
- To verify location for affiliate compliance (US only)
- To display your public picks in the community feed (only if you choose to share)
- To send important account and service communications
- To detect and prevent fraud or abuse
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share limited data with the service providers below, each of which is contractually bound to use the data solely to operate the App:
- Supabase — database, authentication, storage (account, betting data, social posts, avatars)
- RevenueCat — subscription management (anonymized user id, purchase events)
- Railway — API hosting (request logs, no betting content)
- Expo / EAS — app distribution and OTA updates (device id for update targeting)
- Sentry — crash and error reporting (anonymized device id, stack traces, request id; no betting content)
- Anthropic — AI parsing of bet-slip screenshots and AI journal summaries (image content + bet text you submit; not retained for training under our enterprise agreement)
- OpenAI — automated text moderation of posts, DMs, game-thread messages, and bio (submitted text classified for hate/harassment/sexual content; not retained per OpenAI's Moderation API policy)
- Sightengine — automated moderation of avatar and uploaded post / DM / thread images (image submitted for classification; not retained beyond response)
- Google AdMob — advertising on free accounts only; non-Pro users only. See the Advertising section below for what we share and what we do not.
- ESPN — public game scores and metadata (no user data sent; we only fetch scores)
- The Odds API — public sportsbook odds (no user data sent)
- Kalshi — only when you connect a Kalshi account; OAuth-scoped access to your Kalshi positions
- SharpSports — only when you connect a sportsbook account; bet history sync via your authorized credentials
We do not share your individual betting data with advertisers or third-party marketers.
Community picks: If you choose to share a pick publicly, your username and pick details will be visible to all App users until you delete the share.
4. Location Data
Location data is used solely to verify your US state for sports betting affiliate compliance. GPS and IP-based location checks are performed when you access the Sportsbook Offers section. We do not track your location continuously or in the background. Location permission can be revoked in your device settings.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account and betting data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
6. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, authentication tokens, and Row Level Security in our database. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Age Policy
The App is intended for users 18 years of age or older. Account creation requires an explicit 18+ confirmation.
Specific features that involve real sportsbooks — connecting a sportsbook account (SharpSports, Kalshi), viewing affiliated sportsbook offers, or placing any bet at any sportsbook — require you to be of the legal sports betting age in your jurisdiction (21 in most US states; 18 in many other locations). It is your responsibility to ensure sports betting is legal where you live before using any affiliated sportsbook links.
The App itself contains no gambling, no in-app betting, and no real-money transactions — it is a record-keeping, analytics, and social app whose subject matter is sports betting. We do not knowingly collect personal information from users under 13. If we discover an account that misrepresents the user's age, we delete it within 30 days.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at bettracker.app.support@gmail.com. California residents may have additional rights under CCPA.
9. Cookies and Tracking
The App does not use browser cookies. We use device identifiers and local storage for authentication and preferences. On non-Pro accounts, the App also reads the OS-provided advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, Google Advertising ID on Android) for ad serving — see the Advertising section below for what we share and how to reset or limit it.
You may also request that your account and associated data be deleted at any time. See How to Delete Your Account for the in-app and email-request paths.
10. Advertising
BetTracker is free to use, supported by ads served via Google AdMob. Pro subscribers do not see ads.
When ads are served, AdMob may collect and process the following to serve relevant ads and measure their performance:
- Your device's advertising identifier (Google Advertising ID on Android, IDFA on iOS)
- Device information (model, OS version, language, region)
- Coarse location derived from your IP address (country / region only)
- Limited app interaction data (which screen you viewed an ad on, whether you tapped it)
We do not share your BetTracker account information, bet history, sportsbook credentials, or social activity with AdMob.
You can reset your advertising identifier or opt out of personalized ads at any time in your device's system settings:
- Android: Settings → Google → Ads → "Delete advertising ID"
- iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising → "Personalized Ads"
If you upgrade to BetTracker Pro, no ads are served and AdMob no longer collects your advertising identifier through the app.

11. Third-Party Links
The App contains links to third-party sportsbooks. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. We encourage you to review them before signing up.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of material changes via the App. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
